Flex 3 and Adobe AIR has promising potential to be the "killer app" driving the next generation of web experiences. Think AJAX on steroids!

We (Flex 3 - Adobe AIR Junkies) are based in the heart of Silicon Valley (Palo Alto) and were coming together to share our Flex 3 and Adobe AIR experiences.

We are web developers, programmers, entrepreneur's and enthusiasts just looking to expand our networks of fellow Flex junkies and to collaborate, share ideas and find new developers/projects opportunities.

We are the new wave of pioneers\early adopters working with this technology (Flex 3) building the next generation of web experiences to bring to the world a new "desktop like" web experiance that may one day truly move powerful desktop application to the web.

This meet up is an informal group.. We're just a bunch of friendly people sharing similar experiences and learning off each other and maybe finding our next project or developer.

The meet up will be run once a month and with time we will be working with the Adobe Engineers developing Flex to come along and demonstrate new and exiting features while at the same time giving them some valuable feedback on how the technology is being used.
